Talanta Network is Kenya's premier digital-first talent competition. Headquartered in Nairobi, we launch Season 01 in Nyeri and roll out to every county — spotlighting the boldest performers in the country and rewarding them with sponsorships and national exposure.
Who we are
Talanta Network is a nationwide talent search built for the digital era. We remove gatekeepers so any Kenyan with a talent — music, dance, comedy, spoken word, instrumental, and more — can nominate themselves, get on stage, and be discovered. Every score, every vote and every result is transparent and publicly verifiable.
Our headquarters are in Nairobi, Kenya, and Season 01 kicks off in Nyeri. From there we travel county by county — Kiambu, Murang'a, Nakuru and beyond — until every corner of Kenya has had its shot at the spotlight.

The 5 Rounds
Round 1 · Nomination
Closes Thu 20 Aug 2026Fill a short form with name, age, category, phone and an optional photo. Self-nominations close on Thursday 20 August 2026 at 11:59pm. All registered nominees meet at the Launch on Sunday 16 August 2026 at YMCA Hall, Nyeri Town.
Round 2 · Auditions
22 & 23 Aug 2026Two-day auditions at YMCA Hall, Nyeri Town. 4 minutes on stage in front of 4 judges. Judges award marks out of 10 — only the top scorers move to the Quarter Finals. Live on GTN TV.
Round 3 · Quarter Finals
Date TBCThree-night knockout. Judge scores plus paid votes decide who advances to the Semi Finals.
Round 4 · Semi Finals
Date TBCThe Semi Final knockout runs across three nights. Only the top 10 nominees in each category advance to the Grand Final.
Round 5 · Grand Final
Date TBCTwo-night Grand Final. The top 5 highest-scoring finalists in each category are awarded sponsorships and national exposure.
How Marks Are Awarded (Total = 100%)
4 judges score independently on Talent & Skill, Creativity, Stage Presence, and Marketability (0–10 each = 40). The Host at the door adds 0–10. Combined panel total = 50.
Fans vote with M-Pesa at KSh 10 per vote. Score = (Total Votes ÷ 5,000) × 50. Capped at 5,000 votes.
Simple rule:
Get approved → Nominate by 20 Aug → Meet at the Launch on 16 Aug at YMCA Hall, Nyeri Town → Pass Auditions (22–23 Aug) → Quarter Finals → Semi Finals → Grand Final. Live on GTN TV.
